One of the "Iconic BBQ Stands" in Lexington, NC. The late Jimmy Harvey started Jimmy's in the early 1950's. It is a true Lexington Style BBQ stand if there ever was one. Old school would be the best way to describe this place. Great food, and great service is their simple combination, and it's worked well. They are one of the Original Lexington, NC BBQ Festival Participants. Meaning they help supply BBQ that is sold during the BBQ Festival. 2008 was their 25th year of participation. (Yeah, All 25 Festivals, people) Overheard this some years ago when a lady was telling people how to get to Jimmy's. "If you have not stopped at Jimmy's to get some BBQ, you just ain't been to Lexington yet."
